Small Groups, Connection Classes, Koinonia, and Community Groups, along with others names, have been used in churches to describe what we simply refer to as Sunday School. Some might say it is an old fashioned name but people in general know what we mean by the title Sunday School. Small groups of people clustered by similar ages meet together on Sunday morning to study the Bible. We have classes for all ages from “crib” babies to senior adults. Most classes are co-educational, meaning males and females meeting together. There are some “Men Only” and “Women Only” classes. And Del Norte Baptist also offers a Single Adults class.
We like to say that Sunday school is the “Church within the Church.” If there is a crisis or a need that arises in the life of one of our members it is their Sunday school class that first steps up to help them meet that need.
Every person is encouraged to join a Sunday school class. And by the way, you do not have to be a church member at Del Norte Baptist to join one of our Sunday school classes.
Sunday School meets each Sunday at 9:45 a.m. It would be an honor to help you find a class where you feel comfortable.
