Our choir meets on Wednesday nights @ 7:30pm for rehearsal and fills the choir loft in our 8:30 service on Sundays. They also do seasonal presentations and try to reach out to our community through music. If you’d be interested in being a part of this group talk with Ira, or just come to a rehearsal and join in.
Orchestra
Our orchestra meets on Sunday afternoons for rehearsal and plays during our 8:30 service Sunday mornings. They are also a big part of our seasonal productions and outreach events. To be a part of this group see Ira.
Praise Team
Our praise team is in charge of leading us in worship in our contemporary service at 11:00 on Sunday mornings. They meet on Wednesday nights @ 6:15 to rehearse. If you would be interested in being a part of this group, please contact Ira.
Handbells
Our handbells group, Las Campanias, meets on Sundays @ 4pm. This group helps out in worship services through-out the year, as well as being a part of our seasonal productions and outreach events.
MOSAIC
Our youth have several groups to be a part of on Sunday night during what we call Mosaic, several of these groups are musical, including our Youth ensemble, percussion class, and our interpretive movement group called Bailamos. These groups meet at either 4pm or 5pm on Sundays, and we try to have different groups every year for our students to be a part of.
Children’s Choirs
At Del Norte we have some outstanding children’s choirs. They meet at 5pm every Sunday, and we have groups for children age 3-5, grades 1-3, and grades 4-6. These groups put on a program at the end of each semester, and also are part of our Sunday morning services throughout the year.
