How to Become a Christian:

Many people believe they are Christians because they were born in religious homes, go to church, or try to do their best to be good people.  However, the Bible teaches that to become a Christian you must:

• Acknowledge that you are a sinner and have fallen short of God's standards; repent by asking God’s forgiveness and by turning away from your sins (Romans 3:23).
• Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins (Romans 5:8), that He was raised from the dead (Matthew 28:5-6), and accept God’s forgiveness for your sins.
• Confess through prayer, your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord (John 1:12; Revelation 3:20).

How to Become a Member of Del Norte Baptist Church:

By Your Profession of Faith and Baptism: When you receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord, and are baptized by immersion as a symbol of your faith, we will welcome you as a member.

By a Statement of Your Faith: If you come from another denomination, or your membership in a Baptist church is no longer available, we will welcome you upon a statement of your faith if it meets the following three conditions:

• You have received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
• You have been baptized by immersion after accepting Jesus as your Savior.
• You understand that your baptism was a testimony of your faith, not the means of your salvation.

By Moving Your Membership From Another Baptist Church: If you have trusted Jesus Christ as your Savior and have been baptized by immersion, and your membership is in another Baptist church, we will welcome you into our church family. At your request we will take care of transferring your membership
