I was born in New Iberia, LA, but before I was aware of anything my parents moved us out of the swamp and into the desert of New Mexico. We started off in Artesia, and then around age 11, moved up to Kirtland – the town not the air force base – where I graduated from high school in 2000. Then it was on to the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. I began part time at Del Norte in February of 2003 while attending UNM. After (finally) graduating from UNM with a History degree in December 2005, I became full time here at the church. I was married in April of last year to my kindergarten sweetheart Joni (Ok, so I thought girls had cooties in kindergarten but we were in the same class). We have a crazy little cat, named Snickers, who makes an amazing alarm clock. And we are expecting our first child in September of this year.
