SAM
Senior Adult Ministry

SAM is an acronym for many ministries and activities that senior adults at Del Norte Baptist Church involve themselves.
Some of these ministries and activities are specifically SAM organized.
 Others are organized and carried out by senior adults with the encouragement of our seniors. 
For example, the specific ministries of SAM include game days and nights, trips,
note and greeting cards ministry, annual Thanksgiving banquet,
and greeting new members with SAM tote bags and SAM caps,  and bookmarks.

 Our bookmarks have the SAM logo and our purpose statement: A SAM I AM.
I am a senior adult who ministers to others by doing things
 with them and for them in the love of the Lord.
 We wear SAM shirts and/or caps to our activities and trips to identify us
and to create interest in those who see us about who we are.
 This and our bookmarks that we give away on trips give openings for witness opportunities.
