Ministries Home
A warm and caring environment is provided for preschoolers to help them learn about love and trust. Boys and girls are guided through learning experiences with Bible study, songs and games,
all with the purpose of leading them to know Christ's love for them.
In developing our ministry we have four basic assumptions:
- The Bible is our textbook
- The child is the learner
- The teacher is the guide
- The parents are the primary teachers
We believe you will find a varied program of activities for your child at Del Norte
Sunday School
Sunday School meets from 9:45-10:45 on Sunday mornings. Each Sunday
the Bible study will focus on one or more of the following general
subject ideas: God, Jesus, the Bible, Church, Self, Creation, Family,
Community and the World. It is designed to provide Bible study that is
foundational to spiritual awareness and growth. Lessons are age

Joyful Musicians
Joyful Musicians is our preschool choir for 3-5 year olds and is a
great introduction to music. Preschoolers learn songs that praise the
Lord and during the choir year will present special music in the worship
services. While we do want all our preschoolers to have the opportunity
to come and learn what its like to praise Jesus, we do ask that all
members of the joyful Musicians be potty-trained. To see more info

Preschool TeamKid
TeamKid is our mid week activity for preschoolers, which happens on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00. It is for preschoolers age 3-5. TeamKid deals with the daily struggles, questions and pressures felt by our children. The practical, biblical answers they find are not couched in some stuffy lecture, but in fun, interactive sessions. The hour and a half seems to zip by. It is a great blend of discipleship and activity that is great for both long-time church kids and those who are just starting to come. Lessons learned in TeamKid will last a lifetime and have the potential to change those young lives for an eternity. To see more info about all of our discipleship opportunities click here.
Mission Friends
Mission Friends is the first experience that preschoolers will have with missions organizations. It is for 4 and 5 year olds and introduces them to the concept of missionaries. The children learn about other cultures and how they are taught about Jesus. They meet from 4-5 on Sundays. To see info about all of our missions programs click here.
ETC
Extended Teaching Care – ETC – is provided for babies and preschoolers during both of our morning worship services on Sundays. ETC reinforces the lessons taught during the Sunday School hour and allows parents to go to the service and worship freely.

Library
Our church library contains lots of great resources for preschoolers. Books and videos that the children will love, and plenty of resources for the parents of preschoolers as well. To see more info about our library click here.
