learning and growing.
Here at Del Norte we have opportunities of discipleship designed just
for that.
Discipleship Training
One of the strong points in Christian education at Del Norte Baptist
Church is the Discipleship Training that is open and offered to anyone
who is interested in growing toward maturity in Christ. Classes are generally offered during the school year and typically
are held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. on Sunday and from 6:00 p.m. to
8:00 p.m. on Wednesdays. The class subjects change every semester.
As we prepare for the Fall Semester of 2007 here is a list of the proposed studies:
- Crown Ministry’s Biblical Financial Study: a ten week study on handling money God’s way.*
- Living Beyond Yourself: a Beth Moore video series on the fruit of the Spirit.*
- The Measure of a Man Part II: a Gene Getz video series on godly characteristics every Christian man should exhibit.*
- Opening the Seven Seals Scroll: a study of the Book of Revelation.
- Spanish as a Second Language.*

TeamKid
TeamKid is our mid week activity for children and preschoolers, which happens on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00. We have two separate groups that meet: 3-5 year olds and 1st-6th graders. TeamKid deals with the daily struggles, questions and pressures felt by our children. The practical, biblical answers they find are not couched in some stuffy lecture, but in fun, interactive sessions. The hour and a half seems to zip by. It is a great blend of discipleship and activity that is great for both long-time church kids and those who are just starting to come. Lessons learned in TeamKid will last a lifetime and have the potential to change those young lives for an eternity.
